I Got A Bad Phone

Thanks to my readers for explaining that mystery object that came flying out of my kitchen drawer in the last post.

On the day I was born
The hipsters gathered 'round
And they gazed in wide wonder
At the geek they had found
The head hipster spoke up
Said "leave this one alone"
She could tell right away
That I had a bad phone

I had a bad phone
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-B-Bad
I had a bad phone

I broke a thousand screens
Before I met you
I'll break a thousand more, baby
Before I am through
Can't find no custom case
That's mine and mine alone
I'm here to tell ya honey
That I got a bad phone

I got a bad phone
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-B-Bad
I got a bad phone

AT&T made me beg
Verizon tried to steal
Their plans all made me blush
Rollover minutes were no deal
They say I gotta upgrade
Or else I'm all alone
Nothin' they can do, they said
That I got a bad phone

I got a bad phone
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-B-Bad
I got a bad phone

  1. O Docker - Your fine, lyrical post will surely keep you from expiring on the Proper Course blogroll.

Great pick on the music. As for the Delaware Destroyers, there was no saxophone back in the day (late 70's).

Joe - Are you following? You might consider the title of the song linked here as your new masthead subtitle.

    1. Thanks, Mojo. I figured it's nice to have some tunes while we're all waiting for the world to end. And this post should buy me at least another two weeks on the blogroll.

  2. What if the blogroll expires before the bloggers on it?

    1. Sorry, Panda.

On my plan it would cost less to fly to Japan than to call there, unless I call someone whose last name is an anagram of mine, between the hours of 11pm and 4am.

  4. If it's going to expire, it's going to expire out there.
