  2. It's been said that Laser sailing is like frolicking in the back hair of an angel.

  4. Thanks for liking, folks (I'm still working on getting that 'Like' button installed, JP).

This actually didn't take that long to do. The tools are all online and amazingly easy to use. I think the quirky, deadpan, droid-like voices give it a post-millenial, Web 3.0 kind of campy appeal. One caveat is that, although they make noise about a 'free' trial, it does cost ten bucks to publish something you can share. But that includes 'credits' to make a few more videos and a $10 'coupon' of marginal utility.

In the future, everyone will go viral on the internet for 15 minutes.

  5. Dora reminds me of my sister-in-law who, while I was rigging the Lido to take her sailing, asked, "where's the motor?"

I'm looking forward to the next episode!

  6. Panda, I think every small boat sailor knows at least one Dora.

Having started on a Laser many years ago, I must admit there's a bit of someone I know in Dora, but, of course, I can't reveal who that might be.

Another episode? Be careful what you wish for.

  9. Bonnie, please don't make fun of the names of my blog readers.

I think Generic's parents just had a strange sense of humor, and now poor Mr. Levitra will have to live with this unfortunate name for the rest of his life.

Imagine the ridicule he had to suffer in his formative years, the abuse from playground bullies, the constant taunting in the locker room.

Please try to be a little more understanding.
